Gamma Quality provides the services you need to get your Laboratory up and running, and more importantly, keep it running and in compliance. We specialize in Nuclear Medicine, PET, and Nuclear Cardiology Imaging Laboratories, also known as Molecular Imaging Laboratories.
At Gamma Quality, we specialize in Accreditation by the American College of Radiology ( ACR ) and Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories ( ICANL ). In fact, ACR and ICANL Accreditation is our fastest growing service sector. This gives you confidence that we have the knowledge and experience to get your Laboratory Accredited efficiently and cost effectively.
On July 15, 2008, Congress passed MIPPA, the “Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008”. Part of this Law mandates that all advanced imagers (Nuclear Medicine, PET, CT, MR) earn Accreditation as a condition for Medicare Reimbursement. This is similar to the Law requiring Accreditation for Mammography (MQSA). Gamma Quality is uniquely poised to provide the services you need to meet this condition. United Healthcare and other Major Insurers have begun requiring Accreditation as a condition of Reimbursement. Read the United Healthcare Release.
Gamma Quality can provide knowledgeable recommendations for all of your Nuclear Medicine and PET Imaging Laboratory’s needs. We have strong relationships with major vendors of Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging equipment, such as Siemens, GE, Philips, Digirad and others. We also are a distributor for Biodex and Pinestar and can help you source the products you need. We also distribute radioactive sources, such as Cobalt Sheet Sources, dose calibrator sources.
We are vendor independent and can thus provide an unbiased recommendation that best suits your needs.
